Policies and Guidelines for Your Massage or Facial Experience at Eros Bodyworks

Client Rights & Responsibilities (Updated January 2025)

Appointments:

  • Appointments can be scheduled online, by phone, or in person. ​

  • Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment to allow check-in and consultation time.

​

Service Acknowledgement
Massage therapy is intended for relaxation, stress reduction, and pain relief and is not a substitute for medical treatment.

  • Skincare treatments may have varying effects depending on skin type and individual conditions.

  • While we strive for optimal results, no guarantees can be made regarding treatment outcomes.

You agree to disclose any medical conditions, skin sensitivities, or allergies that may impact your treatment. Eros Bodyworks is not liable for any adverse reactions due to withheld or undisclosed information.

Cancelations & Re-Scheduling:

  • We understand that life happens, and plans change. Please call or text us if you need to cancel or reschedule last minute:

  • Cancellations require at least 24 hours' notice to avoid a fee.

  • If you are up to 10 minutes late, your service will continue as scheduled without adjustment.

  • If you are between 10 and 20 minutes late, your service will be shortened and end at the originally scheduled time. You will be charged the full scheduled session price.

  • If you are more than 20 minutes late, your appointment will be canceled, and you will be charged 50% of the service cost.

  • If you believe you were incorrectly charged, you may submit an appeal in writing to appeals@erosbodyworks.com.

Payment:

  • Payment is due at the time of service unless prepaid when you booked your appointment. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, Venmo, Cash App, and Zelle.

  • Prices are subject to change.

Client Confidentiality:

  • Your privacy is important to us. All client information and discussions are confidential.

  • Personal health information will only be shared with your explicit written consent.

  • Every session stays between the client and therapist.

​

Professional Conduct:

  • Our licensed providers are committed to maintaining a professional therapeutic relationship. If you ever feel a conversation or interaction is too personal or inappropriate, you may ask the provider to stop or report it to management.

  • Our providers do not perform massage on the abdomen or breasts.

  • Gluteal massage is permitted only upon explicit client consent and is performed over the sheet with proper draping.

  • Work on the inner thigh will not exceed halfway between the knee and groin.

  • Chest massage is permitted but will not go lower than one inch below the medial collarbone.

  • You will be properly draped at all times during your service, in compliance with Florida law.

  • Eros Bodyworks enforces a zero-tolerance policy for inappropriate behavior, including but not limited to suggestive comments, requests, or advances. If any such behavior occurs, the session will be immediately terminated without a refund, and the client will be permanently banned from receiving services.

Health & Safety:

  • If you are feeling unwell or have symptoms of illness, please reschedule your appointment.

  • Inform your therapist of any injuries, surgeries, or medical conditions before the session.

  • To maintain a safe and professional space, smoking, vaping, alcohol, and drug use are strictly prohibited within our suites and building.

  • If you appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, your appointment will be canceled, and you will not be eligible for a refund.

Hygiene:

  • Please arrive at your appointment clean and free of strong scents.

  • Our therapists follow strict hygiene protocols, and we kindly ask clients to do the same.

  • Depending on location, a shower is available for you at no extra charge.

Draping Policy:

  • Draping is provided for ALL massage sessions. Florida law requires professional draping during massage therapy sessions to ensure client comfort and privacy. Only the area being worked on will be uncovered, while the rest of the body remains securely draped at all times. 

  • If you have any concerns or preferences regarding draping, please communicate with your therapist before the session begins.

  • We appreciate your feedback. If you have any concerns or suggestions, please communicate with us directly.

  • Positive reviews are always welcome on our website or social media platforms.

  • If your experience was anything less than perfect, let us know immediately so we can make it right and course correct if necessary.

Client Identification Requirement

Florida law requires massage therapy establishments to verify client identity to prevent unlicensed activity and ensure compliance with state regulations. In accordance with Florida Statutes § 480.0475, all clients must present a valid government-issued ID before receiving services. This policy helps maintain a professional and secure environment.

Minors & Parental Consent

  • Clients under the age of 18 must have written parental or legal guardian consent to receive massage or esthetician services.

  • Clients under 16 must have a parent/guardian present in the room during the service.

Text Messaging Policy

Eros Bodyworks may send appointment reminders, promotional messages, and service updates via text message to the number you provide. By opting in, you agree to receive these communications. Standard message and data rates may apply, based on your carrier and plan. To opt out, reply STOP at any time, or contact us at (407) 259-3006. Please note that opting out may affect your ability to receive appointment confirmations or important service updates.
