CUPPING THERAPY
A Different Approach to Tension.
Specialized cups create a gentle lifting effect over targeted areas, offering a different approach to muscular tightness, restricted movement, and recovery.
A Gentle Lift for Areas That Feel Restricted.
Cupping Therapy at Eros Bodyworks uses specialized cups to gently lift the tissue over targeted areas of the body. Unlike traditional massage techniques that apply pressure into the muscles, cupping works in the opposite direction, offering a different approach to areas that feel tight, overworked, or restricted.

Your massage therapist adjusts the placement and intensity based on your comfort and goals. Cupping may be incorporated alongside massage techniques to give particular areas additional attention while keeping the overall session personalized to you.

An ideal choice for muscular tightness, active recovery, or areas where movement feels restricted, cupping may leave temporary circular marks that typically fade naturally following your session.

Benefits of Cupping Therapy
Reduces Muscle Tension: Relieves tightness and promotes relaxation in sore muscles.

Improves Circulation: Boosts blood flow to aid in healing and detoxification.

Relieves Chronic Pain: Targets areas of discomfort for long-lasting relief.

Promotes Recovery: Speeds up healing from physical activity or injuries.

Supports Detoxification: Helps eliminate toxins and reduce inflammation.

Enhances Skin and Muscle Health: Improves the overall appearance and function of treated areas.
A Different Kind of Pressure
Unlike traditional massage, which primarily applies pressure into the muscles, cupping uses gentle suction to lift the tissue away from the body. Your therapist may leave cups in place or move them across targeted areas depending on what they’re working with.

The sensation is distinctly different from hands-on massage and can be adjusted around your comfort throughout the experience.

Cupping may leave temporary circular marks on the skin. These are a normal response to the suction and typically fade over time, so your therapist will always discuss what to expect before beginning.
